About Marc

Marc Palermo is a career real estate professional who has excelled in every area of the business over nearly 30 years, with expertise spanning from development to brokerage. In his various tenures, he has overseen marketing and sales for the most prominent properties throughout New York’s neighborhoods, in addition to representing buyers, sellers and developers. Marc has also developed many of his own properties.

His focus has always been on residential sales and rentals, providing clients with incomparable expertise, individualized attention and personal service. Whether you are seeking or selling a luxury high-rise apartment, chic downtown loft, or historic Brooklyn townhouse, you will not find a more knowledgeable, on-the-pulse-of-the-market resource to guide you and ensure your smooth success.

Marc’s passion for real estate began working alongside legendary developer Tony Goldman at Goldman Properties, revitalizing historic neighborhoods from Soho, Noho and the Financial District to Miami Beach for over 12 years. He also oversaw the development, sales and marketing of 101 Greene Street, the first new cast-iron building in SoHo in over a century, 109 Greene Street condominiums, 25 Bond Street and 110 Greene, a mixed-use development. Plus, he spearheaded the revitalization of storied Stone Street and conversions of its historic buildings.

In 2004, Marc was at the forefront of envisioning, marketing, and selling luxury secondary home developments for such high-profile brands as the Four Seasons, Viceroy Hotels & Residences, Auberge Resorts, and Rosewood Hotels & Residences. He next served as Regional Director with SHVO Marketing, heading sales and marketing of the company’s NYC portfolio. Marc joined Douglas Elliman Development Marketing in 2014, and as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, he directed prestigious properties such as 432 Park Avenue, 565 Broome SoHo and 125 Greenwich Street, among others. Through his long and trusted client relationships, he remains one of the top brokers in the city.

Marc demonstrates his tireless work ethic and skilled deal-making for his loyal brokerage clientele. His industry prowess coupled with a winning personality make for a powerful combination. But before taking on the real estate world each day, Mark is up early in the morning, jogging the streets and bridges of the city while it’s still asleep.
